Publishing articles both in print and online on an annual basis, HKUAH aims to foster the circulation and exchange of ideas about art among authors and readers. The journal is committed to open access, ensuring that its content remains freely available to all.
Scope of Publication
HKUAH strives to encompass a broad spectrum of art history, spanning different periods and regions. Apart from research articles, we eagerly welcome exhibition reviews, book reviews, and articles that introduce a particular artist or connect art with everyday life. We also encourage writings that address fundamental questions encountered by scholars and students in art writing, as well as reflections on the debates and complexities within the field.
